Good filter keeps water free of toxins. Very good filter with high flow rate at this price . I use two of these in my 700 liter planted tank and keeps ammonia and nitrate down . Using them for long time without any leak or break down. Buy only good quality filter media like matrix for it . As it wonÕt come with bio media. Highly recommended.

This is quite big but price is good. Quality is good. Better to buy quality sponge along with the filter. The sponge that we get with the filter starts to disintegrate into small particles after a month and gets into the tank and settles down at the bottom. After each cleanup of the filter, when pumping out the air, the tank gets filled with these small particles. May be this happens because its a cotton filter? Not sure. But definitely need to get another good sponge.

Best product for a hobbyist in aquarium and specifically in fresh water fish like discus rainbow and Cichlids. Super silent and effective till 250 lit. Tank. Use other media with this for more efficiency. Using it from past 2 years and 9 months without any issues.

Excellant canister filter. I’ve been using this filter for my 6X2X2 tank for more than one year now and filter has not given me any problem. For the price it’s a steal. I rarely use the UV because it’ll kill beneficial bacteria too.So use it only in case of algae bloom or disease outbreak. There will be no filter media in box

A lot of space for Filter media. Bought two of these for my 5ft tank and they do a good job with a decent flow rate with a height difference of about 1.5m and a lot of space for filter media. Haven’t been using the UV light too often as I’ve read if you continously use it, it would melt the plastic housing, however having said that, you could use it for about 12 to 24hrs and then switch of the UV light. Priming it is a really big headache however it’s really quite.
