Recommended value for fresh water: 8-20 degrees GTH. 1 drop = 1 degree GTH(German total hardness). Colour transition from red to green. A higher GTH in the aquarium compared to that of tap water, suggests that water was topped up rather than renewed.

There is no specified number of tests count as each test consumes various amounts of testing liquid (Reagent). You have to add reagent drop by drop until colour changes from red to green. Number of drops = level of GH (total hardness)

Once the package is open, we recommend you to finish the reagent within 3 months for best use.
