The Aquarium Pharmaceuticals (API) Nitrate NO3 test kit tests for nitrates in freshwater & saltwater aquariums.
High nitrate in aquarium water is associated with algae growth, a build up organic pollutants and poor fish health.
Use this kit to measure nitrates, so that, if detected, steps can be taken to remove it. This kit can measure nitrate levels from 0-160 ppm. 90 tests per kit.

Works well if you follow instructions properly. Useful for a cycled tank which don’t need test for Ammonia and Nitrite. Helps you set schedule for water changes and not wonder if you are doing good or bad.

i am already using API Ammonia and Nitrite test kit. When this Nitrate test kit came i opened it quickly and used it on my well set tank. I always have zero Ammonia and zero Nitrite. When I used this Nitrate test kit it says 40 PPM Nitrate which is not good. Same time i changed 30% water. 15 minutes after changing water i again done the testing and it was showing near 20 PPM Nitrate. This made me understand when and how much water should i change… API test kit is really good now i know my tank better in water parameters. Just go for it… If you see picture this is what my results are. I use all test kit from API.. happy customer 🙂
