I’m using these stones to aerate small hydroponic lettuce systems. I dedicate one stone per each Tetra Whisper 10 air pump, which is their smallest pump. With these minimal pumps the Waycreat 4″ stones generate enough aeration for 6 mature lettuce plants. My systems are more or less a DIY version of the Aerogarden Harvest model. The small Whisper 10 paired with this stone is working very well in my setup. The price for these stones is good and shipping was fast.
