Rinse the activated carbon with water, then put it into the filter casing, it will start functioning immediately. Please take out the activated carbon from the filter while your fish is treated medically. Refit back after fish recover from illness.
Duration: 3 months, should be replaced with new one after.

It is of very good quality product. It clears my water crystal clear and when i put any madecine in water i switch off my filter for sometime and when i switch on my filter it clears whole medicine from water because of which i do not change water frequently.
